Eight Critical Steps for Handling
Difficult Conversations Successfully

As legal marketers working with an array of personalities, it can be challenging to effectively communicate with everyone and leave difficult conversations with all parties feeling positive.

Understanding how different communication styles can impact your effectiveness as a legal marketing professional and how to devise productive strategies to address each style can be paramount to furthering your goals and enhancing your professional performance.

In this interactive session, legal marketing authority Kimberly Rice will outline eight action steps every legal marketer must know and practice to communicate more effectively with people at all levels of the law firm, and will explain how to have the most difficult conversations.

Kimberly will share case studies from real-life law firm experiences. Her practical steps and insights will help prepare you to engage in difficult conversations with confidence and ease.

Takeaways:

  • Identify your personal communication style
  • Learn how to effectively communicate with individuals with different communication styles
  • Increase your impact among lawyer clients
  • Engage in difficult conversations with confidence and grace.

Community Volunteer Opportunity

Network and have fun while giving back to the community. Join fellow legal marketing colleagues for a special LMA-MN program benefiting Baby’s Space, an organization focused on supporting families in need. Baby’s Space mission is to break the cycle of poverty and academic failure by putting the baby’s point of view at the center of full-service childhood development programming.

During the July program we have an opportunity to create Birthdays-In-a-Box, one of the organization’s most requested items. Your registration fee will go towards the Birthday-In-a-Box supplies. Baby’s Space will provide birthday hats that we can decorate to make that family’s birthday celebration extra special.
