With its beginnings in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Legal Marketing Technology Conferences are the largest events dedicated to technologies that law firm professionals use to identify, attract and support clients. They provide the premier forum to learn from and network with thought leaders and colleagues.

This program is designed for those who want to gain ideas to further the firm’s strategy, both internally and externally, using their department’s ingenuity and experience.

Tea Hoffmann is passionate about helping law firms make the changes necessary to become more profitable, strategic, and focused. As a lawyer who has practiced in a firm, served as a GC for a publicly traded company, acted as a CBDO at an AmLaw 100, and Chief Strategy Officer at an AmLaw 200 firm, she understands how hard it is to create “sustainable” change. Tea is a member of the National Speakers Association, the American Bar Association (Law Practice Management Division), and was inducted as a Fellow into the College of Law Practice Management in October 2015.  She also serves as Senior Trial Counsel for the Tennessee Army National Guard where she is a Major with over 20 years of service.

2016 Legal Marketing Technology Conference Midwest – Call for Presenters

We would like to invite you to submit program ideas for the inaugural Legal Marketing Technology Conference/Midwest, which will be held in Chicago on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

The submission deadline has been extended to Monday, February 15, 2016, at 5 PM CT. You will be informed by March 15 if your program idea has been selected. To make your submission, please complete this online form.

We encourage participation by all members of all chapters. Members and potential members alike are allowed to make submissions. The Tech Conference will take place at the Union League Club of Chicago.

The Conference will have two formats:

Breakout Sessions (75 minutes): The breakout sessions will cover the full range of legal marketing technologies. Please aim to have 50 to 60 minutes of programming, leaving time for Q&A.

TED-style Talks (15 minutes): Based on the TED Talk format, these are designed for legal marketing technology-related ideas that can be shared in a simple, short, and powerful presentation. Such talks typically involve one speaker per 15-minute presentation.

  • Address issues of small, medium, and large firms

The Legal Marketing Technology Conferences, produced by the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), are among the largest conferences dedicated to technologies that law firm professionals use to identify, attract and support clients. They provide the premier forum to learn from and network with thought leaders and colleagues. The LMA Bay Area Chapter has organized the Legal Marketing Technology Conference/West annually. 2016 marks the inaugural Legal Tech Conference/Midwest in Chicago in June, in addition to the regular San Francisco program, which will be held in October, 2016.
